This photograph, taken after the war sometime in the late 1940s, shows one of the "hideouts" used by Abraham Librado before he was arrested in the 1930s. Now a tourist attraction, the old adobe house has a floor with a secret passage where Abraham Librado could escape or arrive undetected. Before his death in 1984, Librado would visit the house annually to commemorate the time he spent there. To learn more about Abraham Librado, click the icon below.
